The MCBD has partnered with the Marshalltown Public Library for a Storybook Walk April 4-May 4 through the downtown to celebrate Día de los Niños/Día de los Libros (Children's Day/Book Day) a celebration of the importance of books and reading in the lives of all children in our community. Several different book covers will be posted in downtown businesses allowing families and friends to discover new books as they walk downtown visiting the businesses while promoting literacy.
