Our Committees

Economic Vitality improves the economic performance of the district. Responsibilities include:
  • Helping businesses better meet their customers' needs and expand sales
  • Developing and attracting new businesses
  • Encouraging business and property development through creating and managing tools / incentives
Design implements all the aspects that involve physical and visual components. Responsibilities include:
  • Building rehabilitation
  • Infill development
  • Beautification of public spaces
  • Assisting with signage, window displays, and logos
Promotions markets the district to area residents, visitors, workers, and investors. Responsibilities include:
  • Planning and executing promotional programming:
    • Special events and festivals
    • Business and retail promotional activities
    • Image-building activities
  • Helping with social media accounts and campaigns
Organization is responsible for internal program functions and keeps stakeholders and the community informed and engaged. Responsibilities include:
  • Fundraising for activities and administration
  • Constructing a communications strategy
  • Budgeting and managing program finances
  • Recruiting and retaining volunteers​
  • Managing the website
