​Our biggest event is back for 2025!
Come downtown on Saturday November 22nd from 4pm-8pm for all of the festivities-Reverse Parade, Santa's Workshop, The Festival of Trees, The Christmas Craft Village, and so much more!
Don't forget to visit our downtown businesses to get a jump on Holiday Shopping!

Stroll Activities

Christmas Craft Village

The Veterans Memorial Coliseum
​20 W State St
Come shop handmade crafts and goods from local vendors — perfect for holiday gifting!
The Iowa Central Modular Railroad will have their incredible train display set up for everyone to enjoy.
Beautiful Crazy Photography will be onsite offering $10 family portraits, just in time for your Christmas cards!

Festival of Trees 

2-7PM
The Tallcorn Ballroom

Trees and Wreaths decorated by local businesses and organizations will be up for voting and auction. 
Admission: 
Adults: $3 
Veterans: FREE
Kids age 12+ : $1 
Children age 11 and under: FREE

Santa's Workshop

4-8PM in the lobby of
1st Interstate Bank  
11 N 1st Ave
Santa will be downtown to take photos and listen to all of the kid's Christmas wishes.

 Cookie Decorating

Bring the kids for holiday cookie decorating. Our kits includes everything they need 2 sugar cookies, 2 types of frosting and sprinkles.  Sponsored by Marshalltown Hy-Vee

Kids Carnival

5:30-7PM at Vineyard Christian Fellowship
214 W Main St
Bring the kids down for a free carnival hosted and sponsored by the Vineyard Christian Fellowship. Activities include: helium balloons, face painting, carnival games with prizes, free popcorn, hot chocolate, and cookies/bars
First Methodist Church

​Chili Dog Supper

Warm up during the Holiday Stroll with a hearty chili dog supper served by First Methodist Church!
Enjoy good food and great company — free-will donations are appreciated, with all proceeds benefiting The House of Compassion and the Utility Fund at The Salvation Army. 

Lit Holiday Reverse Parade

Stroll through Main Street and enjoy a dazzling display of floats and decorated vehicles parked and shining bright for you to walk past and enjoy up close.

Olaf's Frozen Adventure

Christmas is celebrated in Arendelle when Anna and Elsa open the gates for the first time in years. However, the sisters find themselves alone when others leave to observe their own holiday customs, so Olaf searches for traditions to bring to the girls.

Step back in time and experience the charm of the season at the Binford House! Enjoy fresh cookies, hot drinks, and the cozy glow of holiday lights while listening to live piano music and carolers filling the home with Christmas cheer.
Take a stroll through this Marshalltown treasure and soak in the sights, sounds, and sweetness of the season.
