Marshall County Courthouse Rededication and Open House
Marshall County is excited to be hosting a rededication of our 136 year old courthouse.
On November 19th 2022 Marshall County will be hosting a rededication ceremony on the North East
corner of the building at 1pm. Following at 2pm we will be opening the courthouse to the public for an
open house celebration. This should be a wonderful event for everyone to see their beautiful building and
for the County to show off all the hard work that has gone into our historic center piece of downtown.

Although the courthouse will not be finished, this date is significant and dear to Marshall County.
November 19th 1886 the courthouse was originally dedicated after being built for $151,000. November
19th 1978 it was rededicated after its first major remodel. For us to be able to rededicate again on
November 19th and for that to coincide with the Holiday Stroll is a wonderful coincidence.
