What is the military banner program?

The Marshalltown Central Business District is pleased to be accepting applications for the banner program that recognizes and honors those who are serving or have served in the United States Armed Forces.

The program is intended to recognize and show appreciation for veterans and military personnel and their families who have ties to Marshalltown. They will be placed on decorative light poles throughout the Marshalltown Central Business District, the Viaducts leading into Downtown Marshalltown, and the 13th Street District between May through late October/early November 2025. Once removed the banner will be available to the applicant/family.

There will be 124 banners, sold at $250. Applications and payments must be received before April 1st, 2025.
